Clover Pro Shop League Rules 2008/2009
1. Team average 1060, any pins over 1060 teams will spot 100% down to 1060
2. Bowlers will use highest book average of 2005/2006 season for the first 9 games. After the bowler has 9 games league average will apply. Any bowler who does not have a book average from 2005/2006, will go back to the previous 2 seasons. If a bowler has no book average for the past 3 years we will use a scratch average of 212. There is no handicap for teams under 1060.
3. The blind score will be 175
4. The league will bowl 34 weeks, 17 per half. The 35th week being roll-off & high-low doubles.
5. The cost of bowling will be $21.00 per person, $8.00 bowling fees, $12.00 prize fund, $1.00 for high-low tournament. Backers fee will be $100 per team.
6. Teams must have 3 bowlers present at 7:15pm or they will forfeit the first game. Late bowlers have until the completion of the opposing teams 5th frame. Practice begins at 7:00pm, League starts at 7:15pm.
7. Team rosters will consist of 5 to 6 regular bowlers with an open sub list.
8. Teams bowling unopposed must bowl at least 50 pins less than there team average to win points.
9. Sanction fee must be paid by September 29, 2006.
10. League Championship, Half season, one champion per half. Any ties will be determined by 2> Total points 2. Total games won 3. One game roll off. 1st and 2nd half champions will bowl a 3 game roll-off on the 35th week to determine league champion.
11. The team captain is responsible for payment of team fees to the desk. Any team owing more than $250, inclusive of backers fees, will forfeit all points until under the limit.
12. High-Low doubles will take place on the last night of bowling. League members will be paired up from high/low average through the league. The three game series will determine the standings. If a substitute has bowled at least 21 games they can bowl ONLY if a regular team member spot is available.
